Question What product can I use to gently power on/off my stereo studio monitors?

I have 2 Mackie speakers about 8 feet apart on stands either side of my desk. I need something I can plug them both into with an easy-to-reach switch (preferable on the desk) that can power them both on and off safely. What do you recommend?

Are the speakers powered?

These would be mainly for unpowered speakers.

There are lots of different speaker switches that will work for what you want to do.

This would work for two sets....but you could use it only for one set.

These take 1/4" audio cables as input, but I think this is beside the point. All I need is a convenient and safe way to cut the power to these powered speakers.

Wow... duh to me, big thanks to you! I actually had the stuff sitting around to make this happen. I can turn all my screens and speakers off with a Google voice command now when I leave the room and vice versa. Sweet!
