what program for vram testing?

Hey

i'd like to test my gigabyte gtx 980 wf3's vram stability, because i noticed that in some games ( dying light 4k+maxed) when vram goes near 4gb i have massive gpu usage drops to 0%, and i would like to see if it's because the vram's capacity would need more than 4gb and this causes the slowdown, or there is some issue with my vram.

I'm not sure which program to use, please advice

Running a benchmark like Unigine Heaven or Furmark for a few hours is a good way to test stability. If it's just in Dying Light, it's probably just from the game itself.

Am I understanding correctly that you're playing at 4K?

I think u misunderstood , i would like to test especially the vram bandwidth when its filled up with all 4096MB.
Is there a program around for this kind of test?
By the way i'm not playing in 4k, was just testing DSR settings and i noticed gpu usage becoming iunstable when all 4gb vram used in dying light. its like 0,5-1s freezes on my monitor, fps drops to 1 XD

I understood. Running a benchmark for a few hours will expose any VRAM issue, but I know what you mean
