what programs to check stability?

I'd like to begin overclocking my new E6850 and I need some advice on what programs people use to check for system stability after stepping up the FSB to the next level. I'm hoping to get at least 3.5GHz out of the thing and I'd like to make sure it's "rock solid" 24/7 stable before I close up the side of the case and start playing a year's worth of games I've been looking forward to.

The forum sticky says to use Prime95... but are there any other programs you use to ensure your system is stable after OCing your rig?

Any advice on programs I can download to ensure the stability of my OC would be appreciated.

/cheers

Prime 95 is the most abusive ( in a *good* way!) way I know of to test your system. If your comp is long term (10~24 hrs) stable on P95, then it *is* stable.

Regarding alternatives - I have/use Everest as well as P95. It's stress test isn't as tough on your comp as P95's, but it has far far superior diagnostics. Plus you can run it all time time for the pretty lights and graphs!! 😛
