Hi guys

I have an old pc which was hand built many many years ago and some of the parts were changed, like the gpu, hdd and psu also.

here is a screenshot:

Now since my old 9600gt burned out due to the cooler failure I had to get a new card so I got an cheap HD 5450 POWERCOLOR silent edition, and its really silent and the best of all its not power hungry, as I understood it uses around 20w if im not wrong...

Anyway, few years ago my PSU burnt down also and I had to get a new one, so I got an MS PRO 550W. Now I saw a lot of articles on the internet that this is one of the worst PSU brands ever, and that I should change my PSU becouse it limits my computer from reaching full potential, and it also limits me from any upgrades since I will be risking a PC getting burned again If I change my GPU or anything like that.

Now I don't expect that much from this pc, since it is very very old, but I'm planning on building a new pc in this same case, part by part, so I was thinking of getting a new psu first, and than later motherboard, ddr3 ram etc etc..

Anyway, I have found this really cheap PSU which is made by Cooler Master, and I have heard that they make good PSU so can I go ahead and get this used Cooler master psu and install it in my current configuration. Will there be any problems, and can I expect my pc too run smoother or even more silent?
Here is the link of that PSU that I found, it's used and it's around 20 euros

Yeah...what he said, I personally think if your goin good quality for PSU`s then high end Corsair one`s are very nice... But my personal favorite must be Seasonic! They make extremely good PSU in pretty much all their models/Series... Platinum series that just came out is awsome!!
