Motherboard: ?? has to be quad channel for 4x4 gb 3200mhz
Cooling: be quiet! Pure Rock
SSD: Kingston 120 GB
HDD: Toshiba 1 TB
PSU : ?? 650W seasonic??

what psu do i need for the last build and what psu do i need for the middle one.

also do u see any issues with the build? would u recommend something? any issues with the ones ive chosen? to which cpu will be worth upgrading from i7 7700. whats the cheapest (and yet good) mobo for quad channel and ryzen cpu?

I think your idea of the 650 watt Seasonic is fine and that's what I'd go with.
I think you can get away with a 550 watt Seasonic on the second build...but I'd go higher anyway because I like having overhead.

I've been running one of these for the better part of a year.
I have no complaints.
....and it's very quiet.

There is basically no such thing as "too much".
The system only draws what it needs.
If your system draws....lets say 500 watts.....it's going to draw 500 watts from a 600 watt supply and it's going to draw 500 watts from a 6000 watt supply.
Basically....whatever is extra....is extra capacity....or overhead.

I always go a bit over but in all your cases a 650w Gold will be more than fine and have headroom for any future upgrades. Also if you go with the majors like Seasonic, EVGA G2 or G3, Corsair RM etc you get a 10 year warranty and quiet a bit of peace of mind.

You hit peak efficiency, at around 50% load, if I remember correctly. Having more doesn't hurt anything. I wouldn't recommend spending more, or the same, for a lower wattage unit, that is of similar high quality.

widespread misconception, technically it's somewhere between 30 and 80%, but it's almost linear these days with modern LLC's

so in this case if i cant fit in 550W seasonic focus plus gold, i better get the 750W seasonic focus plus gold, cuz the 650W is only 10 euro cheaper than 750W.

i was hoping u guys will say that 550w is enough for the future build , but oh well

i needed it to work with 550w cuz its goin to save me 30 euro which is 60 leva in my country
