Hey guys,

I am looking to upgrade to a GTX 960 and would like to know wich PSU to buy with it. I know that there are modular and non modular PSUs, but I really don't know wich one to get. (I would assume a tier 3 one will be enough for my build, i may be wrong)

CPU: AMD FX 6300 3.5ghx
8GB RAM
Asus M5A97 EVO2 Motherboard

What do you guys recommend? (something that isn't too expensive)

Thanks.

What's the difference between a modular, semi modular and non modular PSU, i know it has something to do with the cables being removed or something.
Also should I get a modular, semi or non modular for the GTX 960 4gb?

Modular- the cables are separate of the psu so you can just use the ones you need.
Semi-modular- some cables are wired to the psu and other are separate.
Non-modualr(fully wired)- all the cables are wired to the psu.
Modular and Semi modular can make cable management much easier.
