Basically I ordered a dell xps 8700 (specs below) and after checking the order sheet I was surprised to find the psu not listed, I'm hoping to upgrade the Geforce GTX 645 (OEM) supplied to a Geforce GTX 770 or 780 and I don't want to have to upgrade my psu. So basically I have two questions what psu does the dell xps 8700 use and will it support any of the graphics cards I mentioned. (I don't intend to upgrade the psu unless the situation is dire because I can't afford a new psu and a new graphics card.)

Specs
CPU Intel 4th gen I7-4770 3.4ghz quad core 8m cache
GPU Geforce GTX 645 (OEM) 1gb
RAM 12gb DDR3 dual channel
2TB Sata 7200rpm 6gb/s

Solution
For a system using a single GeForce GTX 660 (non-Ti) graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 450 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

That's why the Dell OEM 460W PSU has no problem powering an XPS 8700 with that graphics card.

Really? I'm sure a saw a dell rep say it was 550w but that wasn't my exact question (sorry phrased it wrong) I was actually looking for the exact type of psu e.g corsair seasonic

It's a 460 Watt OEM PSU made by Delta Electronics. It has a maximum combined +12V current rating of 32 Amps and has two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 770 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 42 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Your Dell OEM PSU doesn't have the right PCI Express supplementary power connectors or sufficient +12V current capacity to safely power the system with a GeForce GTX 770.

Thank you.
One last question however, Dell states the 1.5gb Geforce GTX 660 has been tested and works with the XPS 8700 however does that mean all variants of the Geforce GTX 660 will work with the XPS 8700, the 2gb version in particular?
