What PSU should I buy?

Hi everyone, my current PC specs are:
CPU: Intel i5 2320
Motherboard: Dell 0GDG8Y (standard, that came with the computer)
RAM: 8Gb Dual DDR3 Corsair @1300MHz
HD: 1Tb (Not sure model, but same as the MOBO, it came with the PC from Dell)
GPU: GTX 760
- CD Drive (Again, standard)
-Windows 7x64

My current PSU is a somewhat cheap Thermaltake TR2-600W that I bought before I had the 760, and after a couple of years on the job, the power coils (from what I could diagnose by Google search) started buzzing at a high, constant pitch, no matter if it's under load or not. When I bought the 760, I heard that 600W would cut it, but since then, I've been thinking of upgrading to a higher quality 750-800W Corsair PSU, but I'm not sure which one to look at. Any suggestions? Two other questions are: Is 750-800W overkill? What should I look for when shopping for PSUs, when it comes down to cable and such (to ensure that I can hook everything up properly)? Thanks for your help!
