I am going to build a gaming Pc in next few months. My budget for psu is low to medium. The specs of my pc are

Cpu :Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz

Cooler :Cooler Master Hyper 212x

Board :Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3

Ram :G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

HDD :Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB

GPU :MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V

Case :Thermaltake Chaser A31 ATX Mid Tower

I know that power required by this build is no more than 500-550 Watts but i cant decide on any good psu because i don't know any.Can you recommend a good quality psu.
I don't plan on doing SLI or multi GPU setup. I may or may not OC my system but can you recommend a psu for both conditions? I will add some extra fans on case but they dont take much power so anyway....
I will be eternally grateful.😀

P.s this is my first build and I'm still a noob in these kind of things.:pt1cable:

I would buy a 650 watt psu it gives you way more wiggle room. Overclocking will boost your performance once your hardware becomes obsolete or old. Get the 650 watt

If you can afford this psu it is one of great quality. It's a very high rated fully modular 80+Gold power supply. It's made by Seasonic the best PSU manufacturer in the business. The psu is very important so you don't wanna skimp on it http://

The 650 watt will give you more wiggle room but i will look at that psu and get an opinion for you.

@yobo520 sure. Please do it.

@SR-71 Blackbird's thanks. Btw how much wattage does OC need? Do i really need to OC? I mean i can get good performance without it for some time till games become too demanding.

Also you don't want your budget on the psu to be low. It's a very important part in your system and I can not stress that enough. Get the 650 watt you will not regret it one ounce
