What PSU should I use with GTX 970?

So with this build what PSU should I get?

Graphics GTX 970 SC SLI
Motherboard ASUS Hero VII
CPU Intel-Core-i7-4790K
Storage: 2 TB
RAM 16GB DDR 3
Running 3 monitors, on 120hz 1080p.

I tried to work it out and it came to 1000 watts but I thinks thats wayy too high. How many watts would I need to run this system?

For SLI yopu want a decent 750w to 850w.
