Hello!

I want to build a PC, and I'm looking for a PSU. Some cheap options, without going to shitty brands, are the EVGA 650W GD 80+ Gold, EVGA 650W GQ 80+ Gold and EVGA 750W GQ 80+ Gold. (GD is the cheapest and 750 GQ most expensive).

My components are, I think:
  • ASRock X370 Killer SLI or a B450M
  • Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 5 2600
  • Stock Cooler (Wraith Stealth)
  • ASRock RX 580 Phantom Gaming D or Sapphire Pulse RX Vega 56
  • Corsair 2x8GB 3000MHz or 3200 MHz C15 RAM
  • CoolerMaster MB500 TUF

Are the PSUs I listed above good? If so, which one should I get for that PC? The 650 and 750 GQ are almost the same price, so the choice is between the 650 GD and 750 GQ.

With those specs you only will need a 650W PSU. I would use the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold instead of those EVGA. The quality of both are very high, but the Focus Plus Gold is fully modular and has a semi-silent mode. The semi-silent mode will only turn on the fan above a certain load usage.

Go with the B450 or X470 and the 3600 with 3200MHz RAM. When looking at benchmarks of the 3700X the performance uptick from the 2700X is quite a lot and it uses less power.

Yeah, I'm probably going for the 3200 MHz RAM (although, it's CL16 and not CL15). And yes, 3rd gen Ryzen seems to be a lot better than 2nd.
And about the PSU, I didn't realise it wasn't full modular. Getting that specific one might be difficult here in Argentina. I'll try to see what I can find, that is at least 650w, 80+ Gold and is ranked high on the tier list (I don't want to fry my computer by cheaping out on the PSU).
