Hello guys, I'm getting a new gaming PC but I'm not sure how big a power supply I will need, here are the specs.

CPU: i5-3570k 3.4Ghz 6MB
CPU Cooling: ThermalTake Contac29 BP High Performance Ultra Silent Cooler
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LX
RAM: 8GB DDR3 2133Mhz - PATRIOT VIPER V3
HardDrive: 2TB SATA3 - 6Gp/s, 7200 RPM & 64MB Cache

I'm not sure how big a power supply I would need for this. Thanks for the help!

firstly, you don't need 2133 RAM it's useless. Not too sure about that CPU cooler either. 650W should be enough to run an sli setup, but I went with 750W in case you upgrade gpu or cpu.

How is it useless may I ask? I thought the higher the better, and I thought if your PSU was too big you could damage the components, could you shed some light on this please, thanks.

intel specifys a maximum of 1600mhz ddr3, if u buy something over that and burn ur cpu ur warranty isnt covered, also theres no use in using ram of over 1600mhz even when overclocking the advantages arent real world and arent worth breaking ur warranty with intel, id say get a good pair of 1600mhz ddr3 8gig kit with tight timings and good voltage for overclocking and ull that will make a difference.
