It seems i need to get a new psu for my HP PAVILION TG01-1417NO but im confused about what kind of psu will:
A)Fit in the case
B)Work with the motherboard
Any help is appreciated

So theres no way to make any normal psu work with it?
HPs own PSUs seem to be less powerful yet way more expensive compared to third party ones. Also a bit hesitant to get a new psu of the same model since the one i have now started failing after only a year and a half of use (Though im only like 90% sure the psu is at fault in the problem im experiencing)

The case won't accept aftermarket PSU's and even if you did manage to get one in, half the holes/venting on an ATX PSU are going to be blocked. That's the issue with a prebuilt like HP(and Dell) they force you into what they want you to use. As stated, the PSU is bespoke to the build, the connector on the motherboard is also proprietary.

If you think you'd like to troubleshoot what the issue might be, best start another thread.

I would just about suggest getting a compatible motherboard and a new case and PSU and move the CPU, RAM, M.2, GPU to a standard build. I am not sure what the compatibility outlook on a 4600G CPU is for BIOS.
I would certainly like to do that and i probably will build a pc with some parts from this one when i can afford it. For now I´ll see if theres anything i can do to get my current pc running normally.

Damn I wish I had know that when I got the computer. Thanks for the answer man!
