What psu would work best?

hi,
i am looking to buy a psu that has 2 6pin power connectors for a video card Vapor-x hd4890. i have an acer aspire m5700-b5772a. the current psu has no power connectors for this card. i have a nvidia geforce gt120 that came with the pc but was told the vapor-x is better so i need to find a new psu that will fit my pc. my harware is all factory nothing has been changed. here is a link to the specs http://www.bestcost.ca/article.asp?langue=e&noid=2298 I live in canada so would like to find one that i can purchase online. any suggestions or ideas are appreciated. All the amps/wattage you need for the card/system, it has two 6 pin pcie connectors, and it's a quality psu.

For a system using a single Radeon HD 4890 graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 500 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 35 Amps or greater and have at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) rated at 45°C - 50°C ambient temperature, is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) will require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

You may find power supplies on the market that supply more than enough Wattage to run the system. However, some of them lack Sufficient Amperage capacity on the critical +12 Volt rail, which is necessary to properly power the critical components in the system (i.e. CPU and GPUs). This is the reason why graphics card manufacturers may overstate the power supply wattage, usually by at least 50 Watts, in an attempt to take into account some of those power supplies that have the weaker +12 Volt rail(s).

on a Side note are you getting the card for free or really cheap cause that an old card while you still need to upgrade your PSU since most cards need addional power I'm just wondering why that card ?

Thanks for the informative reply. sorry took awhile to respond. my pc is no longer is working, after checking it out it appears that the psu has given out. this is the 2nd one now. the first time i sent my pc back to acer since was on warranty and they gave me a replacement one but now its not on warranty and instead of just using the old vid card the GT120 that runs with ddr2 that came with it i will use the Radeon HD 4890 card which runs with ddr5 which i also got for free and get the power supply that you suggested. I am unable to buy a newer better card at the present time. Thank you once again or replying to my problem. it is very helpful
