what r7 does it have?

Claims to have an r7 igp but i cant get a sense of what r7 it has. Does anyone know?


Also does anyone know if i can adjust the apu memory apature in the bios?

As far as I can tell it uses an APU-the AMD A8 PRO-7600B.

The graphics chip on that APU is simply specified as "Radeon R7 Series Graphics" everywhere I've looked, even HP's website & AMD's website.

So unless Device Manager is more specific you'll have to be content with just knowing it's an R7 Series.

No i dont have to be content with that. These are selling in amazon refurbished. Someone knows. I wanred to know so i could compare it before purchase. I may end up getting it even not knowing. Perhaps there is someone running linux on one who can run an inxi on it or maybe even could boot one with a linux live usb or dvd and report an inxi on the graphics hardware. If not, i may have to take the leap to be the one who does it.

i no longer care. a ryzen 5 2400g machine with 16 gb ram can be built for less than 5 and will blow this away. until i buy 16 gb of ram for this and add a msata ssd im up to the price of a new build with aforementioned build.
