I would like to know what DDR3 Ram my laptop support. AND HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT THE RAM IS WORKING ON MY LAPTOP?

THE PROBLEM IS THAT MY LAPTOP HAS 2x2GB DDR3 1333 so why on ASUS page is 1066 and Crucial says that I can get 1600?

Since [Asus pages says: DDR3 1066 MHz]
and
[Crucial Scan says: DDR3 1600, DDR3 PC3-12800, 1,35V] (Click Here to open photo)
[my laptop uses I think 2x DDR3 1333, PC3-10600(CPU-Z says PC3-10700) (Click Here to open photo)

So I’m so confused what RAM can I use to upgrade my memory from 4GB(2x2GB) to 6/8GB(2GB+4GB or 2x4GB)? Little help needed here ?

MY LAPTOP

Processor: Intel Pentium CPU P6100 2.00GHz (2CPUs)
Memory: 4096MB RAM

I opened my laptop and find out that I have these RAM memory installed:
2x DDR3 2GB-1333 SSZ3128M8-EDJEF (Click Here to open photo)

ASUS WEBSITES

ASUS N53Jg specs shows on their official sites that
RAM MEMORY is: DDR3 1066 MHz SDRAM,4 x SO-DIMM socket for expansion up to 16 G SDRAM

CRUCIAL

Crucial Scan says: DDR3 1600, DDR3 PC3-12800, 1,35V (Click Here to open photo)

and

I need help and answers to this. What RAM I can add to my laptop?

WHAT RAM MY LAPTOP SUPPORT AND HOW CAN I BE SURE CUZ ALL PAGES SAYS DIFFERENT?

4GB DDR3 1066 MHz, DDR3 PC3-8500 or
4GB DDR3 1333 MHz, DDR3 PC3-10600 or
4GB DDR3 1600 MHz, DDR3 PC3-12800 or
something else?

or can I even go up to 16GB as the ASUS website says: "up to 16 G SDRAM" I got only 2 slots

Solution
sorry for the wait you want any of those I believe them to be the same. pga988 socket is the same as G1. LGA is a desktop socket I believe looks to me like 1,2, and 4 are identical just use different words to describe the same thing.

and yes your laptop will down clock your ram to the highest speed that the cpu can handle. so your 1333 runs at 1066
The price for RAM around that size and speed is fairly similar, often the higher speed stuff is cheaper because it's more available. Just get 8 or 16 gigs of the cheapest stuff you can find. Faster is obviously better, but you won't see all that big of a difference.

That laptop comes with dedicated graphics memory anyways so it's not going to impact gaming performance significantly.

officially your cpu only supports 1066 MHz ram
http://ark.intel.com/products/50175/Intel-Pentium-Processor-P6100-3M-Cache-2_00-GHz

that cpu is old and cheap when it was new. a ram upgrade from 4 gb expecially on windows 7 will not improve your performance. if you want more speed on your computer look to see if your laptop supports i5 or i3 cpu's and swap one of those out for a used one on ebay. windows 7 is optimized to run on 4gb or less and you will not see any performance increase by upgrading to 8 gb even if you had an i5.

if you are hell bent on buying ram because a friend told you more gb will give you more speed then go for it but benchmarks don't lie and they show on average a 1% performance increase beyond 4 gb ram. even top end games like battlefield 4 will run on under 4 gb of ram.

your real problem is that cpu is super outdated and slow and unfortunately ram will not make if faster.

If I may ask where can I check if my laptop Asus N53Jg-SX037D support i3 or i5. Im not sure if I have different model SX037D does this matter or its the same as N53Jg at Asus websites? I just want to upgrade my laptops performance (Larger HDD(SSD but too expensive) , RAM etc. Im noob and I want to know if its worth to do these kind of upgradings AND WHAT KIND OF UPGRADINGS should I do) to avoid buying a new laptop due to low incomes and studies.

look on the asus website for cpu's that were shipped in that model of laptop originally

http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/N53Jg/specifications/

supports i5 540m I honestly think I have one of these just laying around after I parted out the rest of the laptop I could sell it to you via ebay if you are interested. I have to look at its value but id guess something like $30.

you will want to upgrade your cpu to that above mentioned i5 and if you can get some money around for an ssd those 2 things will give you the largest increase in performance.

I also have a 128 gb ocz vertex 4 ssd but I don't think id sell that to you as I think im going to put it into a family members pc soon. you can get a 256 gb used on ebay for $150 or so.

all in all $200 in upgrades to your computer and it will be much faster. your ram is perfect for what that computer is capable of

I see that you gave me lots of good advices about upgrading my laptop. So I wanted to confirm somthing.

1.Is it so that ASUS specs in N53Jg applies to all N53Jg example ASUS N53JG SX233V, ASUS N53JG SX093V or in my case Asus N53Jg SX037D. Those numbers after SX means that they got better cpu or ram or HDD? But for all these ASUS N53Jg I can upgrade up to CPU i5 540M, RAM 2x8GB, HDD 640BG? Did I understand correctly?

And ok lets start from CPU can I install any i5 540M example
1.Intel Core i5-540M 2.53 GHz 3MB 2.5GT/s PGA988 Dual-Core Laptop Processor SLBTV
or
2.NEW Intel Core i5 Mobile i5-540M 2.53GHz 500MHz Socket G1 CPU SLBPG SLBTV
or
3.Intel Core i5-540M 2.53 GHz Dual-Core CPU Processor SLBPG LGA 1156
or
4.Intel Core i5 Mobile i5-540M SLBPG 2.53GHz 3072KB Socket G1 CPU Processor Laptop

What are the differences?

2.And as I can see that Intel® Core™ i5-540M Processor
(3M Cache, 2.53 GHz)
support DDR3- 800/1066
and
also Intel® Pentium® Processor P6100
(3M Cache, 2.00 GHz)
support DDR3- 800/1066 but why my laptop has DDR3- 1333 if it can run only 1066
