Hi i have an older Samsung laptop, type sf510 with Win 10 pro 64 bit.
In this laptop there is 2x 2 GB of dd3 sodimm ram, with the posibility of expanding to 8 gb ram.
So i bought this 1x 8 gb ram the other day 1.35v 1600MHz and the bios recognised the ram. But windows wouldn't boot (bsod). I tried a clean install, i tried the other ram slot, tried booting from usb. But all failed.
So no other option than putting the 2x 2 gb's back. I also tried finding the bios power settings but it wasn't there. I also tried finding a rom to upgrade/flash my bios but couldn't find any.
But i really want to upgrade and i am hoping somebody can help me identify what i am doing wrong.
On a last note, excuse my spelling as i am not native in this language.
ps. the ram currently in is;
2x 2gb pc3-10600 from the brand Adata
