Purchase your RAM based on what the MB Manufacturer has listed on their QVL and that way you know they have been tested and known to work.
Please list your MB?

Ryzen 9 5900x officially supports up to 3200Mhz (OC) RAM and any higher frequency will need manual Bios tweaking for Timings and DRAM voltage.

There will be no SPD profile for easy Overclocking at 3600MHz such as XMP or D.O.C.P so you have to rely on your overclocking skills. It can be a very frustrating exercise the higher you go in frequency to achieve stability.

There will be no guarantee you will achieve...

3600 MT/s is the value at which the memory and infinity fabric of AMD processors work at a 1:1 ratio, so it could be considered as the sweet spot for Ryzen. Higher frequencies should also work without a problem.

There will be no guarantee you will achieve a higher frequency above the official rated frequency of your CPU as that depends on the strength of the IMC on your chip.
Choose carefully !!!!

This is incorrect. I have a 5900X with 3600MHz RAM and I was able to set a DOCP overclock with my Asus Bios.
