what RAM should I use with AMD FX 4300 for gaming?

hi, I got an AMD FX 4300 as a gift for my birthday, I need more RAM, any sugestions?My motherboard is GA-78LMT-USB3, i'd like to play games like cs go, warface, battlefield

grab the cheapest 2 sticks of ddr3 memory DRAM, the ram speed doesnt matter.

no idae what i used before, i've always used a laptop wich worked great with games, it did have some frame drops somethimes but it did okay, i'll defenitly think about your answer! thanks!

i bought corsair 2x8 ddr3 160mhz overclcokable to 1866 iirc, works well

How many Fps do you get? does it have frame lags and that kinda stuff?

the ram is there to help apps to not to run out of memory

the fps also depend on the cpu and the gpu

remember that the fx4300 is a old and weak cpu

the frame lags also depend on the cpu and gpu

now that i think of it, it is a fm2 chip but is almost exactly to the fx in terms of core speed and cache

you mention cpu and mainboard, but not the gpu
