I'm upgrading a lot in my computer, I'm getting an AMD X2 5600+ along with an eVGA Geforce 8600GTS + XFX MB-N590ASH9 nForce 590 SLI MoBo.

Anyways, I'm not sure what ram to get, I defiantly don't want to spend a lot of money on super OCed ram with timings of 3-3-3 and such. but I would like to DDR800 if I can.

It seems like all the RAM im looking at on newegg have compatibility issues with certain motherboards, I just want to make sure the ram I get is going to work with my motherbored. I need my computer and cant go another few days to order more and hope the new stuff works.

A couple that i was looking at are these two OCZ

That's really the max i want to spend on ram. I would really prefer cheaper if i can get cheaper ram that'll work great, and a minimal performance difference.

Thanks :)

Edit: Also i'm not going to OC it. I just stick with minimal CPU and GPU overclocks without doing anything special.

Also looking at this one

You should be alright with OCZ or Corsair.. Those are high performance memory anyway. I will take the OCZ reaper if I were you.

As for compatibility, it's confusing and I don't have experience with either the mobo nor the memory. So, you'll have to ask someone who has those parts. It's getting harder that nowadays we have compatibility issue as well. It suppose to work with all mobo and all mobo should work with all with memory within its specs.

I wouldn't get the reaper so you don't have to worry about space issues with the extended heatpipe.

You may also want to consider G.skill DDR2-800 with the black heatspreaders here

This is very good memory, even rated at tighter timings, but for $40 cheaper. It would easily run at DDR2-1066 with 5-5-5-15 timings.
