Hi , I am finding a more performance RAM to fit into my motherboard msi z97 gaming 9 ac.

Anyone here mind explaining and what RAM should I get if I am into extreme/hardcore gaming and will probably be streaming games too.

My rig:
MSI z97 gaming 9 AC
i7-4770k
GTX780 asus directocii oc
Hyper X Genesis 4x 4gb (current rams)

Thanks in advance.

CL (or CAS Latency) in effect is how long it takes to perform an action, so lower is better, the 1866/2133 is how fast the DRAM run, so faster is better and the higher the freq, the more DRAM is processed in any given action, i.e. 1600 theoretically can process up to 12800 MT/s (mega transfers a second, roughly relates to MegaBytes), 1866 can do up to 14,900 and 2133 roughly 17,000...si basically when looking at DRAM want a combo of high freq and low CL i.e 2133/11 can be outperformed by lower freq 1866 sticks with a tighter CL of say 8-9......if it's 1866/10 and the 2133s are 11 the the 2133/11 is slightly better...

Here I'd go the 2133/9 Tridents, great sticks, I've been using a ton of Tri's over the last couple years

2x8GB.....2 sticks is less stress on the MC and can help a bit, both with OCing the CPU and the DRAM itself if you so choose (i.e. with little to no changes with 2x8GB I can run my 16GB 2x8GB set of 2666 at 2800, with 4 sticks it takes additional MC voltage

I currently have RipJaws Z 1866MHz CL9 or Trident X 2133MHz in mind.

Is it better to go for Trident X? What will the 1866MHz and 2133MHz do and what does it mean by CL9?
