[SOLVED] What ram to pair with 2933mmhz laptop ram?

I need a 2nd ram with my 2933mhz micron chip nitro 5 laptop ram.
But i can only find 2666/ 3200 ones
How do i set the ram speed in a locked bios? Will ram speed be resetted to 2133 if i do nothing?

Get a new set of RAM all together and dispense with the old ram. Mixing ram doesn’t work much of the time anyway

If it does work it will work at the speed of the lowest clocked ram. The rule of thumb is to never mix ram and the only buy it in matched sets. Don’t buy it one stick at a time because it is not guaranteed to work that way it is only guaranteed to work if it’s bought together as a set
