What re the chances of failure for this ram?

Hello Humanoids,

I just bought Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR4-2400 1.2V, and i heard that Ballistix ram had the highest failure rate. I did not open the package yet, so what can i do to avoid any chances of failure with this ram? (I heard that some sticks have different voltages than other sticks, is this true?)

It's very often the frequency of the RAM you choose rather than the brand. Crucial are considered one of the best RAM manufacturers. Yes there are differing voltages depending on the RAM you choose.

For better advice it's best to list your full system specs, the Part No of RAM kit, your CPU and your MB.
As you have your RAM then give them a try.?

My Mobo is a Asus ROG Strix Am4 ,and CPU is a Ryzen 3 1300x, my PSU and case and GPU are coming later. And so my best chance would be to try out the ram and try to get the Voltage to the same frequency?
