What Rig to play fortnite

Hi there all,
so i have recently gotten into gaming again and would like to play fortnite. Right now as it is when i try play fortnite i can barely play the game without getting fps lag. To not get fps lag i have to turn the graphics to low which is a pretty horrible experience.

Can you guys assist me on what to upgrade in order to achieve better graphics and fps in the game?

My current specs are as follows:
AMD radeon HD 7970 club 3D
corsair ddr3 8gb RAM
Corsair GS700 gaming series psu
Intel DP67BA media series mother board
Intel core i5-2500k processor
128gb vertex ssd

I would at least like to play on good to epic graphics

are you playing at 1080p? if u want epic you need to upgrade your video card.

FRL 180fps
3d resolution - 933 x 583(55,5%)
view distance - near
shadows - off
anti-aliasing - off
textures- low
effects - low
post processing - low

anything higher and it will start lagging
