What\'s wrong with my sound?

I bought some new speakers and I cant get them to work . I have tried everything. Any suggestions?

Everything ? What have you tried, so as not to be redundant !

Trying Everything would include anything anyone else would suggest, so it's hopeless. Like if you have an infinite amount of candy, if you ask for more, you won't increase what you have already.

Check to make sure you have them in the right ports? Sound not muted in anything? Check different ports to make sure the ones you are using are not bad? Power plugged in? And power button pushed in? Try them in a different computer to rule out any issues with your sound card?
