[SOLVED] What SATA type is this?

I recently took out a hard drive from an old laptop, and tried connecting it to a standard SATA to USB connector. However, the connector won't fit the hard drive. Does anyone know which SATA type this hard drive has? I have uploaded the images of it in the link below. Thank you.

Make and model of the HDD you pulled out of the laptop? It looks to me like an IDE connector of sorts. More will be revealed when you take a picture of the label that's on the HDD itself.

What your looking at on the back is an adapter. If you remove it the drive will have a normal sata data and power connectors.
