What screen should i get?

I'm getting a new pc and I'd like to know if I need a gaming screen or is a standard flat Samsung 24' screen will do the job.
Specs:
I7 7700k
Gigabyte Gtx 980 ti extreme gaming 6gb
Corsair 16 (2×8) 3000mhz
Asus z270 mb
Bonus: this site is really good I use it all the time

I got almost the same specs and run my old 1080p 100bucks LG Screen. If you're satisfied with that it's fine.

Depends on the screen?
If it got richer colours of corse your experience will be better
Some people like a higher refresh rate for smoother frames
Others prefer some panel types over others or a faster response time

Without knowing the exact model of your current screen and the screen you might wanna buy it's impossible to answer your question with yes or no
