What settings can I run company of heroes 2 on this laptop?

Hi, I have a laptop with following specs:
Intel core i5 7300hq 2.5ghz quad core turbo up to 3.5ghz
8gb RAM
Nvidia geforce gtx 950m 2gb gddr5
Windows 10 64 bit and
256gb SSD
How well would this laptop be able to run Company of heroes 2? I heard the game is very badly optimized? At what settings can I run Company of heroes 2 while still having good framerates?. I usually run games at 1080p with some other settings on low or medium(like anti aliasing). I Always turn shadows off since I dont mind them in almost any game.

There is a setting that turns the Winterization stuff on and off, turn that setting off and you should be able to play it on med to high settings. I mean sure, fine tune the settings but other then that the game is fine. Its just mainly that one setting that REALLY screws things up.

So if I turn winterization off, I can play it on med to high settings? And what framerates would it probably run with your advice?

I do my best to try and run in the 40s, At the very least try to be above 30. But mid 40s is easily playable. Shadows and Anti Aliasing are also big killers of frame rate. And yes, to the Winterization off. Its a nifty effect but its not worth the massive frame rate loss.

Have you also heard off the fact that company of heroes 2 seems to be recording your gameplay and that you can turn of the playback by blocking access to a certain folder. The "playback" folder in this case. And what pc are you running coh 2 on?

I've never heard of the game recording your game play like that, so I am not really sure of anything about that.

I run:
4790k @ 4.6Ghz. with EVGA 280mm Liquid Cooler
16GB 1902Mhz DDR3
2x 980s in SLI @ 1507 Mhz each.
Corsair 1200W Platinum PSU
1x 256 GB Samsung 840 Evo (OS)
2x 2TB WD Black/Seagate Barracuda

The game does NOT have SLI compatibility. BUT, even when I was running 2x 680s I could still play the game in the mid 40s with a single 680 with what the Winterization off, AA turned down, and shadows turned down, and that was at a 2560x1440 resolution.

But my laptop is way worse. I have a gtx 950m 2gb gddr5. So I cant play it at very high settings then?

I doutb Very High, but Med High with Winter stuff off, AA turned down, and Shadows down/off. Everything else should be at med to High settings.

So you think with my laptop I can run company of heroes 2 on 1080p, shadows off, and most settings to medium-high and still get good framerates, like 40+ or something? Thansk for all your help.
