New build, benchmark was ok, but I feel like I'm missing something. Cpu package temps never passed 65c, and maybe I'm misunderstanding the instant 6ghz feature but cpu clock speeds never surpassed 5.3 ghz. I've seen a few guys getting 20K+ with the cpu , cpu 18055 and the gpu 36438.

Gigabyte aorus ultra z690 (f22 bios) instant 6ghz enabled
Aorus ddr5 5200 (xmp on 5200 setting)
13700k
Gigabyte OC 4090
Samsung 970 pro (still waiting on my 980 pro)
Evga 1200W platinum psu
Corsair h150i elite
g500A case

Happy New Year!

Was the OS reinstalled on the new platform after a migration? I'm assuming it was a migration/upgrade path since you stated this;
Samsung 970 pro (still waiting on my 980 pro)
which would seem like you had the OS from a prior install/platform. If so, you will need to reinstall the OS.

Correct I had windows 11 already on my m.2 and did a plug and play instead of fresh install. Reactivated windows and it recognized the hardware change, after reactivation it corrected a few LAN driver issues. Just out of curiosity, what would that change of the reinstall of windows? also when I get the 980 pro, should I just do a clean install on that m.2 and then insert my 970 after?

Average cpu score - as of this post, because it changes all the time - is 18,883.
This is all skewed by folks posting with good/bad overclocks, well/poorly cooled chips, motherboard power throttling, Win 10 Vs Win 11, chipset driver, bios microcode, software running on individual PCs...

I don't see a problem with how your config fared. Is there something not shown by 3D Mark?

Fixed it lol, needed to have more faith in Gigabyte software handling all of my drivers lol. https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/86381648?
