Recently my internet has been disconnecting for a few minutes, then reconnecting every 30 minutes or so and it has proved to be a real inconvenience. I just found another post asking about what I think is the same issue that I'm having, and the answer was that the lease expires and lease obtained times should not be an hour apart, but it did not specify how to fix the issue. This is what it says for me, I'm not sure if it is normal or not, but if there is a problem any help fixing it would be greatly appreciated.

Do the following links match for your modem/router?

https://setuprouter.com/router/arris/tg862g/manual-1371.pdf

https://arris.secure.force.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/TG862G-NA-LAN-Subnet-Setup

Lease time is set via the "LAN Setup" tab in the second window of the second link.
So that isn't my router, but I don't think it matters as that is what my settings look like. The lease time is set to 3600, which I assume is in seconds meaning that my internet would be disconnecting every hour, which seems like what is happening. Should I set this higher or something?
