I currently have an i5-7600k and a GTX 1070, 8gb Ram. I want to know if
A: I should get an i7-7700k
B: get an SSD
C:get 8 more gigs of ram.
P.S. I could maybe get a combination of a few.

Solution
Get an SSD for sure, and I would be careful with upgrading RAM. If you can it would be better if you bought 16GB of whole new RAM, from the same kit, since RAM tends to be very finicky, even with RAM of the same make and model, timings, and clock speed. RAM is put into kits for a reason, as those specific sticks are made to work together. It may not be the case with other RAM.

The rest of your build is fine and works well with each other.

I have a z270 M5 motherboard, should I get an m.2 ssd or 2.5 inch ssd? I have a 3.5in hot swap bay so i would have to get an adapter if i were to go that route, correct?
