Hello everyone,

I'm really stoked on playing Star Citizen but i've read that you need a minimum of 16GB of ram.
I currently have 8GB so i was planning to buy another 16GB giving me 24GB in total.

Anything else i should upgrade to get smooth gameplay?
These are my specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 1400 (OCed)
GTX 1050 Ti (OCed)
8GB DDR4
250GB SSD

Thanks!

With ryzen you'll definitely be better off just using 16 gb of ram at 3000-3200 mhz adding your current stick will make it very unlikely to get above 2666 and no game benefits from over 16gb ram

Been a while since I have fired it up, but you might ask some of the Tom's players of it. More memory certainly won't hurt, but your overall system specs are around what they ask for. GPU is probably a little light. I know VRAM is a big issue for a lot of people that have tried to run it.

I try to run it at 2560x1440 and get pretty okay frame rates with a GTX1080. They just aren't quite there yet. Certainly planning ahead. By the time they have a complete game the requirements will probably be mainstream.

So do you mean that i shouldnt mix ram sticks?
If so you I should buy the same 2x4GB ram sticks to get a total of 16 right?

Don't mix ram kits. Instead get this kit here : GSkill FlareX 3200MHZ-LINK
This kit was designed for Ryzen and is a Samsung BDie Kit. This will boost performance running at 3200!
