What should i buy?

I've been debating what to buy for my new system. The new rig would be used mainly for video games, i already have a decent video card (9600XT). I am somewhat picky on graphics, i love seeing the closest detail and i have a budget around $500 for a cpu mobo and ram. i've been thinking about a 64 xp system. what do you think?

Chaintech VNF3-250. Less problems , (unless you love to blow-off 250G problems}, an A64-3000 or better, and some decent OCZ memory. Get a good PS and rock on!
