Hi. Final question at the bottom.
Details:
I've got a new Ryzen 3 2200g build that doesn't want to cooperate. Originally the computer would only work with the basic windows display adapter. If I tried to use the vega graphics it would boot over and over until I was brought to the troubleshoot menu.
After searching online I found that some people had their problems fixed by installing the drivers in a specific order. I finally found that installing the drivers in this order made my pc boot every time:
AMD chipset driver.
AMD General driver for my cpu.
AsRock AB350 Pro4 Motherboard general driver.
Even though it boots every time, I still can't run games. Just from looking at the task manager performance tab it seems that the computer crashes when the GPU usage goes up suddenly. The blue screen I get is the Video_TDR_Failure one. Although sometimes there is no bluescreen.
Anyone know if it could be motherboard or ram related. My motherboard is the AsRock AB350 Pro4 with the latest BIOS update and all default settings. My ram is 2x8gb DDR4 2666Mhz Corsair vengeance LPX.
Specs:
AsRock AB350 Pro4 Motherboard
2x8gb DDR4 2666Mhz Corsair vengeance LPX
1TB HDD
Evga 500b psu
Ryzen 3 2200g (Using the cooler it came with.)
Final Question:
Is there something wrong with my chip and should I apply for the warranty or could the problem be with the Motherboard or RAM?
I'd Appreciate any advice!
