and i currently have a 4850 512mb card in it...

what would i see the best performance from?

well i havent done the upgrade yet... im just about to get all that stuff in a bundle from ebay for like $449 AUD, and the graphics card i allready have... problem is ive allready preordered bad company 2 and i wanna play it flawlessly... ive currently been playing the beta version, and the fps are completely f'd... as soon as there is like more than 10 people in the game BAM thats it it lags like a whore on toast (lol) so yeah... otherwise i can run it fairly well (under 10 people)

I suggest u don't...
2x4850 are produce a lot amount of heat. It's better with single 4850 for now, maybe in the next 2 or 3 month, the prices of 5xxx series will drop, that's the right time to upgrade your card...
Well, that's just me, let see if any other suggestions from this forums... :)

If your case and PSU can handle it, the 4850. The 4870 is 10% faster than the 5770 in DX9/10 so twin 4850's oughta dust it. If you are "PSU / Case cooling impaired" ..... to be politically correct :) ..... then the 5770 might be an option if you are at 1650 x whatever ore lower resolution. If you are at 1920 resolution, no sense going to the 5770 cause it can't do 30 fps under dDx11.

A prepackaged rig like that will most likely have the bare minimum PSU running it. If you wanted to xfire 4850s, you will most likely have to invest in a stronger PSU. The heat would have to be dealt with as well, resulting in a louder case from extra fans, or a large money/confusion cost in going to water cooling.
