What should I do

I am giving up on building with my Asus Rampage II Extreme motherboard, (mostly because I could not get it to boot).... what is my best bet for a motherboard that I can use my current RAM,CPU, PSU, HD and SSD.... I have 3-4GB 2Rx8 PC3 12800U and 3- 4GB 2Rx8 10600U RAM DDR3 and a 1100W PSU with a Enermax 240 Cooler and i7 cpu. I have a mid size ATX tower case and could use suggestions on Graphic cards as well (not sure my geforce 8800 GT is properly functioning). I also have a Sumsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD and a WD 500GB 64MB Hard Drive. I am eager to get a pc up and running for my son with as little $ as possible. He would like to play games like GTAV and Skyrim.....
