Im looking to upgrade my current system to something abit better for gaming! I currently have a
G4400 cpu
gigabyte 730 gpu
H110M-A mobo
500w Evega power supply
2×4 GB of ram
And a medium sized case
What should I be looking to upgrade 1st? I know my mobo can only handle max-6-7th Gen. So... Should I continue building with this mobo? And if so, what should I buy next? Or is it in my best interest to switch out my motherboard and go for 8th Gen? I only have at max right now to work with about $500.00 please help

Solution
Biggest improvement would be a new graphics card, the 730 is a pretty awful gaming card. Something like a 1050ti, RX570, GTX 1060 or RX580 would be a huge improvement and will probably be on sale with the release of the new Nvidia cards. For your CPU get something like a i5-7500 or i7 7700, but update your BIOS first. You will also porbbaly want to get a decent cooler for the CPU instead of the stock Intel one, something like a Cryorig H7 would be perferct for either the 7500 or 7700
Assuming that your gaming at 1080p resolution, then some tweaks to your PC would help. First, update the GPU. A GTX1060 3MB or 6MB. Next, update the CPU to a i5-7xxx. With some shopping, you should be around the $500 point. Also, before you swap out your CPU, be sure to update the bios to the latest rev.

Solution
Ok... I've just ordered an EVGA 1060 3gb graphics card. I'm hoping I'll be able to play Fortnite on high settings. Maybe even H1Z1, or just play PUBG? Any ideas if I'll be able to? I know my next step will have to be my cpu. But all in due time.
