Hello all.
I have an old pc, with this specs.
Mobo: 970a-d3p
Cpu: fx 8320e
Ram: 8gb hyperfury 1866mhz (1)
Gpu: gtx 750ti 2gb

This is the thing, I don't know if I should buy a gtx 1660 super and overclock the cpu and ram (maybe buy an additional 8gb ram) or the other option is upgrade the mobo and cpu to a ryzen and keep the gtx 750ti. I can't afford to do both.
So... What is the best option for gaming?

Solution
Run this simple test:

Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

What is the make/model of your power supply?
GTX750ti requires minimal power like 300w.
A GTX1660 Super generally needs a 8 pin aux psu connector and 400w.
Does your psu have that?
Here is a chart for other graphics card options:

For fast action games, a graphics card upgrade may be worth it.
Even if your cpu is lacking, a new graphics card can be carried forward to a new...

FX is all but obsolete,
I would not spend anything on a fx system

Keep in mind that $250 or so can buy you a processor that is twice as strong, along with a motherboard and 16gb of ddr4 ram.
