I bought a new monitor it's a Asrock 3440x1440p. I have a new GPU coming to me soon it's a 4070 Super, I was wondering if I should keep or return it and get the 4070 ti Super for high or ultra settings? I don't play Triple A titles I play like D4, D3 and some sim games. No ricing or driving sims games.

Depends on the frame rate you're expecting to run and what level of CPU performance you have. I have a 12GB 3080 which is roughly the same performance as 4070S and same resolution (144hz) monitor with zero issues. For games with a ton of fancy graphics I tend to aim for 60 FPS minimum and have had no problem getting there.

In the case of going from the 4070S to the 4070 Ti S the jump is good, but it's not like you'd be going from 60 FPS to 90 FPS from the switch. The Ti does have the extra 4GB VRAM, but unless you think you're going to move to a higher resolution display I doubt it would make a difference when running what I'd consider reasonable frame rates (60+).
