What should I expect to be normal for temperatures?

Currently using

Amd 8350 cpu
gtx 770 gpu
hyper evo 212 aftermarket cpu cooler
2 case fans
corsair carbide 200 case

Idle I'm running between 22-28 Celsius

When playing tera at near max settings I'm around 40-47 Celsius. I realize after looking up stuff online that this is good temps, but I plan to stream games in the near future what temperature is still acceptable?

I suppose now I'm just confused on how thermal margin works. I assume based on the name, thermal margin is just how much room I have until it's to much on the cpu? Basically if underload I have a thermal margin of 44 celsius if it even went down to the 30's or mid 20's i'd still be fine. I'm completely noob but this has helped me if i'm understanding it properly.

You got it right.

If it were to get to around zero, then your processor would automatically throttle down until it was back in the thermal margin again. (I tested it).

So 20s is perfectly fine. even teens. Under 10 and you might re-evaluate your cooling solution since it may start throttling and losing performance as it clocks down.

I wouldn't worry if it pushes close to the thermal margin when running stability tests like prime95. Regular use won't make it that hot
