Where's the GPU? o_O

The build could use the integrated graphics. The OP didn't give us nearly enough information to really offer a good build suggestion. What are the intended uses of the computer? The build suggested above would be a good office type computer. If the computer is to be used for gaming there will have to be changes made to the build. The budget is pretty tight for a gaming system. We'll have to wait for the OP to provide more information...

Well, for gaming it's going to be a little limited, but you will be able to play Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite or even Tomb Raider, for example. Not with the max settings, of course.

Ok, Thnx. Is the AMD A10 you listed better than the AMD Athlon II X4 760K?

CPU wise, no, it is not. But it has a built-in GPU, which is essential to gaming. With just the X4 760K you couldn't play almost any game unless you bought a separate GPU, but that means spending a lot more.

My build has the X4 760K + a gpu and why does the RAM cost so much?

They're very high quality, and I like them :p And you won't find Corsair or Kingston for less.

Ok. What do you think about my build? (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2HNAX) Also, will a Core 2 Duo be better for gaming or is my CPU better?

It is more expensive, but it is much better to have 8GB of RAM and a 7790.

All right so I updated my build to this:

AMD Athlon II X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor £58.00
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard £42.11
Corsair Vengeance 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory £38.88
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive £43.94
Asus Radeon HD 7790 1GB Video Card £90.78
Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mid Tower Case £33.41
Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply £36.79
Total = £343.91

I decided for the 4gb RAM because i will be upgrading regularly and my psu because it's semi-modular.

EDIT: I chose your case instead of mine

I wouldn't recommend you to get 4GB of RAM. Your motherboard only supports two slots of RAM, which you will fully use, since the RAM is 2x2GB, so when you went to upgrade to 8GB you wouldn't be able to reuse the current 4GB, so your options are to buy 8GB right now or buy 4GB in a 1x4GB configuration, so that you would have space to get another 4GB stick, making it 8GB.

In that case, buy a 4GB stick and then buy a matching one when you have the money.
