Are you playing at 1080p? if so then save yourself some money and go with the gtx 970 the 980 is overkill for 1080p in my opinion.

but the gtx 970

980 is just 15% more in performance than 970.. totally not worth the extra money

on the other hand if you have some cash then buy the r9 295x2 ..its a 4k grade card..it costs close to a 980 and is double the performance
