What should I get?

This is notebook memory, for my notebook which currently has a T5500 in it. The FSB is 667mhz. I am wondering which of these one should get:

1. 1GB Kingston PC-5400 (667MHz) 200-pin SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM = $219.00

2. 1GB Corsair PC-5400 (667MHz) 200-pin SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM = $239.00

3. 1GB PQI PC-5400 (667MHz) 200-pin SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM = $ 199.00

I do plan on getting a Total of 2GB. just wondering if it is worth spending the extra for the Corsair, even though i will NOT be over clocking this notebook. However if the corsair is known to be far more stable and uses slightly less power etc etc, i am prepared to spend an extra 20-40 per stick for it.

I tried google but i can't really find any memory benchmarks for these types, can anyone help me? comments would be good.

EDIT: I was also wondering (for a different laptop) if i put a 667mhz stick into a laptop that supported a max Ram speed of 533mhz, would it underclock to 533? or would i have to update the bios before this could happen. (i have a debit and i was think of giving them my old ram from this new lappy). They have a LGE LE50 Express that supports a max RAM speed of 533 (although they only have a 266mhz module in currently, and only 512MB at that).

ps: All prices are in AUD (Australian dollars)

Well, I would guess that the lowest voltage RAM would help your battery life, but I can't imagine it would be noticable. I would go with what's cheapest that will work in your laptop, assuming the timings are all the same on these chips. As far as underclocking RAM, it should underclock fine without any flashing of BIOS. I can't say for sure of course, but I've never seen where a BIOS update was necessary to underclock RAM.

just my .02

kewl kewl, i tred to have a look for the latency's but i could only find the kingmax 1's. so i was going to go with that, and then later when more memory hogging programs are released i'll upgrade to the 2gb. at lest the fsb : RAM is 1 : 1, which should help a little. as for PQI they seem to be the cheapo brand here, and turns out that the corsair is the Value select (so my guess is they slapped an extra bit for the brand). the kingston seems like it would be a safe bet (here in aus the Kingston brand isn't as well known as OCZ and Corsair etc etc)

As for the underclock, what about the LG LE50 express, it has - by the looks of things - the other 266mhz ddr2 built in although it does support the 533mhz. that shouldn't be a problem right?
