What should I get?

I have been looking at graphics cards lately and I was wondering if I should get a gtx 670 or a gtx 660? I am just worried if I am going to bottleneck the gtx 670 because my cpu is a i5 3570k or if its not a good value for the money compared to the gtx 660? After looking at benchmarks the gtx 660 is only like 10-15 fps behind the gtx 670, and its like $150 cheaper. So is the gtx 670 worth it?

Worth it.....totally subjective. To me it was. You will not bottleneck your cpu. you could run either card in SLI and not bottleneck.

I think you'd have to be running something like dual gtx 690s or stronger before a core i5-3570k would bottleneck the video, even when running at stock speed. As far as whether the 670 is worth it, I suggest you look up some benchmarks of it that use some of the games you like to play, and see if the gtx 660 gets sufficient framerate for you in those benchmarks. If so, go with the 660. If the framerates for the 660 don't quite seem playable to you, go with the 670.

Grab it ..... the 670 is the dominant current generation DX11 card in the gaming market right now (% based upon hardware hitting steam servers).

nVidia GTX 660 has 0.92% of the market

ATI Radeon HD 7850 has 1.21% of the market
ATI Radeon HD 7870 has 0.79% of the market
ATI Radeon HD 7970 has 0.76% of the market
ATI Radeon HD 7950 has 0.71% of the market

It certainly won't bother ya 3570k. Both cards will be more than adequate for most games but the 660 does dip below the 30fps mark in Metro 2033 whereas the 670 manages to hit that mark.

Thanks guys! I guess I will look at more benchmarks of games (boaderlands 2 , bf3, crysis 2), but should I wait for the 700 series cards I mean there gonna release march-june?
