What should I rip out to disable It's wifi tracking?

Kindle Paperwhite is currently the best e reader on the market.

I love It's minimalism, I can have all my books on 1 sleek device... But none of these e-readers, ESPECIALLY not Kindle has any sort of privacy. Please don't be suspicious of me, I am not doing anything illegal with my Kindle, I just don't want Amazon to know everything about me. I'll be reading everything on the Kindle. I won't just be reading for fun, I'll be taking detailed notes on personal study-type books that I don't want others accessing, kind of obviously. This is what I want to do;

-buy it with cash from a far away book store that I never normally go to.
-Before I get home I want to take it to Best Buy or something, I want somebody to permanently disable the wifi so it can't go online or trackback to Amazon or any entity outside myself.

That will keep my reading habits personal. This may seem like it hinders the Kindle, no internet... Really all I want is an e-reader that won't strain my eyes and stores thousands of books & articles. That's enough value for $119 for me.

If you'd be so kind, here's a pic of the inside of the Kindle. Which of these should I rip out to disable It's wifi? If It's too complicated for me, I'll just take it to a professional at GeekSquad to remove it.

Edit: As for needing internet to buy the books, I want to buy them on my laptop and just transfer them to the Kindle via USB. I believe there's software to convert any text into Kindle files.

This way I can read the Kindle without someone storing my information

Do you mean the one that says CE0682? Are you sure, I want to be certain I don't break it.

The easiest way is simply do not tell the Kindle about any WiFi networks !.
I have a base model Kindle. The only way it knows how to connect to a WiFi network is because I told it to connect to my house WiFi, and gave it the security key.

I have dozens of books obtained from Project Gutenberg, copied directly from the PC to the Kindle, that Amazon knows nothing about.
If you don't want it to connect, simply don't tell it what your WiFi security key is.

Not sure how you can 'not register' it. I think it needs to be tied to an Amazon account. That's how they want you to buy books. But you do not need to buy and copy books to it like that.

After that, it never needs to contact the mothership.
1. Don't tell it to connect to a WiFi soouce
2. Airplane Mode. Turns the WiFi off.

I ha\d my Kindle today in the car. At lunchtime, I checked to see what WiFi it saw. It saw 7 different WiFI sources. But connected to none of them, because I did not click the 'connect' button.

Connect it once, just to register the device. Then unregister that WiFI source.
It might work without ever registering it, but it will probably continue to annoy you, even if you remove the WiFi adapter. (If it even works if you remove it)

For a 'fake' WiFi?
Maybe change your WiFi security key to something else.
Let the Kindle connect and talk to home base to register.
Then change your WiFi key back to whatever secure thing you had, and put the Kindle in Airplane mode.

It will never connect again.
