What should I sell my laptop for?

So I bought a laptop 3 years ago that I don't really use anymore so I'm looking to sell it but have no idea what it would be worth. It's from PC Specialist and has these specs:

Chassis & Display: Defiance Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD IPS LED Widescreen (1920x1080)

Processor (CPU): Intel® Core™ i7 Quad Core Processor 6700HQ (2.6GHz, 3.5GHz Turbo)

Memory (RAM): 16GB HyperX IMPACT 2133MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB)

Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 970M - 6.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 12

1st Storage Drive: 120GB HyperX SAVAGE 2.5" SSD, SATA 6 Gb/s (upto 560MB/sR | 360MB/sW)

2nd Storage Drive: 1TB WD SLIM BLUE 2.5" WD10SPCX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 16MB CACHE (5400 rpm)

It's also got Windows 10 on it but the battery is very bad (lasts a couple hours) so I'll have to mention that.

What sort of price should I ask for and also is there anywhere in particular that would be good to sell it on?

Well, you can go out and buy a brand new i7-8750H + GTX1060 for about $1200. (GTX970m 6GB is roughly a desktop GTX960) And you can get a late model 8th i5 (still a quad core with hyperthreading like your i7) and a GTX1050Ti for around $800

You might try asking $600, but be willing to take a best offer. The gap is essentially to cover wear and tear and the potential for a new battery. (Gaming laptops rarely last all that long on battery anyway, so a few hours isn't bad at all)

Ebay probably.

Thanks for the help, I figured it would probably be somewhere around that.
