The cpu and gpu in your system are made for light and casual gaming. Adding another 4 gigs of ram will give you a tiny boost but don't expect a miraculous increase in performance. To get to the next level, you'll need a different CPU/GPU.

You would need new motherboard. AMD and Intel use completely different cpu sockets.
Also different cpu types for both use again different sockets.

For example, that cpu uses FM2+
AMD FX-6300 uses AM3+

Intel i3-2120 uses LGA 1156 or 1155 (can't remember which)
Intel i3-4130 (newer version of yours) uses LGA 1150
And then something like Intel i7 5960x (just for example) uses LGA2011-3

i did some research and i found a cheap build for a decent gaming pc for a low price of $302. which since for the games that i play right now, this would work great. and if i ever get any big graphic intensive games, there is room for a lot of upgrades and improvements. and since i already have a few things like dual monitors and fans, it would be a good pc.

Here is a link to the build: https://gyazo.com/de3b1c7b73af1055d8b2b3bae4f55f45

Well, cpu wise you don't really have any upgradability because FM2+ cpus won't be made anymore.
Only upgrade would be A10 which doesn't give all that much improvement.

GPU-wise, you are limited to up to GTX960 or similar. Anything higher will get bottlenecked.

But for slight gaming, that one works.

EDIT: A8 7600 is more-like a side-grade for i3 2120. With A8 being just very slightly better.
