Probably that and sell your current cpu and ram.

If you can include that in the budget then you could go with the 2700x or 3600z instead.

As it is though the 2600 is still a good pairing with a 5700xt

The suggestion of replacing the ram entirely as opposed to just adding another 8gb is that ryzen is very finicky with unmatched sticks.

Oki, I ment 200 for cpu or ram. And after some time upgrade the other. Which one should I do first?

Six of one and half a dozen of the other.

Both could do with replacing together to be honest.

Also new amd cpu's due so prices may change.

Based on current prices though probably a 2700x

Or just replace the ram as suggested above and wait for the new cpu range to drop.

2700x will give you more instant benefit though.

Thnx, I ordered the 3600.

Make sure to update the board bios first before installing the 3600.

You need to be on at least bios rev 3.30 to run a 3600 and if your bios is below rev 2.00 you need to update to rev 2.00 first before updating further.

You should also make sure the latest amd drivers are installed via Windows before updating the bios.

Cpu-z will tell you your current bios version under the main board tab.

I updated it yesterday to 3.5 because I was not sure if "*ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU is being used on your system." applied for my current 2400g
