Alright what's good guys? So I have a i5 4590 and GTX 960 in a h81m-e33 with one stick of 8GB RAM, with a 1TB HDD, stock CPU cooler, one case fan in a Corsair 100r. I also have a used 1600x1200 monitor, a Microsoft 200 keyboard and a cheap $15 Logitech non gaming mouse that I've had for 2 years.

The stuff I do mostly on PC is game (mainly DOTA 2 and other F2P games until I GET THAT NBA 2K15), surf the web, and edit photos on GIMP from time to time. I only have a maximum of $100 for the upgrade unless if I buy a monitor and only a maximum of 2 items since I'm a student dependent on his parents right now. If I do upgrade the PC, then I probably won't be able to buy the game.

Solution
No need for SSD. SSD's are only for when you have extra cash you're willing to burn. most important thing would be monitor and then peripherals (mouse, keyboard, headset ect.) but these are all down the road equipment.

The solution is not a PC upgrade, it's a job! If you start earning your own money, you will think twice on spending money on things and if you do, you gonna appreciate that stuff twice as much.

Above answer is probably correct... a nice 22-24" FHD display would be nice, SSD in the second place i guess. The rest looks decent.
