What should I upgrade first?

I recently purchased a PC for work, school, and gaming. While my current budget for upgrades is non-existent, I like to plan ahead.

I do plenty of heavy rendering (I'm a current game development student), and I'm also getting into PC gaming.

Here are my current specs:

Motherboard: Asus Z180-k
CPU: Intel core i7-6700k
PSU: 550w
Graphics: msi GTX-960
RAM: 16 GB (2Xs 8gb) DDR4
120gb Sata Drive
2tb Standard Hard Drive

Any suggestions as to what I should invest in first? What order of upgrades after that?

Looks like you just need a better video card if you're getting into gaming. Maybe a bigger ssd or cpu cooler?

Exactly, if your going into gaming in the future, grab yourself a RX480 if your budget is limited. If you find yourself with more cash go with 1070.
